1. Objective

The courier pet allows the user to transport items from their inventory to their storage at home.

2. Changes to Inventory

From the Inventory panel, the user will have the option to unlock the pet courier through a button.

  • Locked:
    Users who have not unlocked the courier pet ability will see a Locked button. Clicking on this button will open the Pet Courier dialog that has a brief description on what the courier pet does and provides a link to the Starter and Founder’s pack page.
    A treatment should appear over the entire bottom inventory bag until one of the pet courier options are purchased.

  • Unlocked: Once purchased, the button will have 4 states:

    • Available

    • Disabled – When the pet Courier is on Cooldown it should display a timer

    • Disabled – Pet not equipped

    • Zone incompatible – for future pets that may not be used in certain zones

3. Final

After finalizing my wireframes, and a cross disciplinary review, the design ended up slightly changing, where any row in the inventory could be used by the courier pet.

For Courier Pet, the final UI Art was made by Tammy Chang.
